Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, a historic settlement dating back to the 1830s, represents almost 100 years of Tennessee history. This pioneer village should be preserved and celebrated, allowing visitors to walk its grounds, explore its buildings and keep the history alive. We want to keep Cannonsburgh Village functioning, thriving and a key piece of Murfreesboro history today and for years to come.
As the front door to a creatively designed and unique Minor League Baseball stadium we can celebrate our history, create new recreational opportunities for all of us, help clean up a key part of downtown and spur economic development and tax revenue to help us all.
The American Association of Professional Baseball (AAPB), an independent 12-lteam baseball league, was founded in 2005 when the Northern and Central Leagues made the decision to combine and form one league. Teams of AAPB are scattered across the country in cities that don’t have house Major League Baseball teams or their affiliates.
